First-Timers Lunch

For attendees who are new to the Annual Conference, ASCA hosts a First-Timers Lunch. On Thursday, you’ll have an opportunity to meet ASCA’s board of directors as well as others like you who are first-time attendees. ASCA’s president, Chris Ahlum, will talk about the association’s current focus areas and how you can make the most of your time at the conference.


Roundtable Discussions

Take advantage of the experience and expertise available at the conference by participating in roundtable discussions focused on topics of interest to Consulting Arborists.


Networking Reception

Brewery Tour

Join fellow ASCA attendees on this guided tour to discover some of the nation’s best beer in the beauty of The Gorge. Price includes a guide and roundtrip transportation from Skamania Lodge to two of the area’s finest breweries. Food and beer will be available for purchase. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember, a limited number of spots are available for this tour, and a minimum of 10 people must be signed up for the tour to take place.


Wine Tasting and Waterfall Guided Tour

Due to The Gorge's unique geology and its variety of growing conditions, the diversity of wine grapes is unlikely to be found anywhere else. Take advantage of this opportunity and join other attendees on this guided tour to sample some wonderful wine and see beautiful waterfalls. Price includes a guide, wine tasting, and roundtrip transportation from Skamania Lodge to two of the area’s finest wineries. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember, a limited number of spots are available for this tour, and a minimum of 10 people must be signed up for the tour to take place.

 

Zipline Tours

Saturday, December 2
1:00 pm–3:30 pm
$89/person (10 person minimum; 40 person maximum)

Take in the beauty of the majestic Columbia River Gorge and surrounding mountains; experience a tour full of fun and adventure as you fly suspended by a cable through the moss-covered firs of the rainforest canopy. The tour includes a ride down seven different lines, the longest one being over 900 feet in length. Experienced guides will lead you through the course, so prior zipline experience is not necessary. Tours will not be canceled because of rain or cold weather, so please remember to dress accordingly. It is recommended that you dress as if you were going skiing, with winter coat, hat, gloves, boots or tennis shoes, and a scarf. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember, a limited number of spots are available for this tour, and a minimum of 10 people must be signed up to get the group discount.
